This sounds like music to our ears!

After delivering the best audition in the history of The Voice, going on to win the entire NBC singing competition, and then closing the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday, it was clear big things were in store for Jordan Smith.

If you happen to be one of the millions of fans who fell in love with his powerful voice, then we have some pretty good news for you… the 22-year-old’s album is out MUCH sooner than you’d expect.

As in, this very Spring!

Following his PCA performance alongside music legend David Foster, Jordan spoke to reporters about his upcoming plans, saying:

“I’m in the studio now, been there a couple days, working with David Foster. It’s an absolute dream to work with him. He’s an absolute legend. He’s such a genius and it’s an honor to work with him. He’s incredible…

It’s going to be inspiring. I want it to lift people and make people feel hopeful or be something that someone can relate to, so I’m really excited to keep moving forward and really discover what that sound is…

It’s a little sample of what to expect on the album, and then hopefully this spring you’ll be able to hear some more of it.”

Sounds good to us!

Could Jordan be the first successful recording artist for The Voice?!
