Well, it looks like we’re going to find out the truth once and for all!
Earlier this week, the 25-year-old’s ex fianc├â┬⌐ Dakota Meyer filed papers to claim joint custody and paternity over newborn Sailor Grace.
Now, the case is put on pause, because DailyMail reveals that a court has ordered the 27-year-old take a paternity test.
The Marine Medal of Honor recipient’s grandmother, Jean, is upset that her grandson has to undergo DNA testing:
“It happens every day that a mother tries to keep a child from the father and you just have to deal with it. But I would say it does hurt [to have to prove paternity]. But that’s just the way the law is ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ you have to get permission here and permission there. I really think Dakota will do the right thing and I think he has a right to that child.”
The 85-year-old also admits that she thinks the veteran deserves to be a proud poppa to the tiny tot, adding:
“He will be a father to his child and he’ll be a good one he’s just got to get this girl and the law to agree.”
What’s interesting about these claims is that Sarah Palin‘s daughter has kept quiet about the identity of her daughter’s father, even though she says the pregnancy was totally planned.
It also appears as though Dakota hasn’t said a word about the baby until after she was born.
