What a lineup!

As Disney expands the Star Wars universe, the studio has been searching light years wide in hopes of finding a young Han Solo for an untitled spinoff!

After auditioning thousands of actors, sources say that executives have narrowed down the list to about a dozen names of their final picks to step into the role made famous by Harrison Ford!

According to Variety, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, and Logan Lerman are among the top contenders to play the space traveler!

Other actors in the running are Scott Eastwood, Jack Reynor, Brooklyn star Emory Cohen, and Glee actor Blake Jenner!

Wow, that’s some serious competition!

A handful of names still remains unknown from Disney‘s shortlist — one of which is likely Kingsman: The Secret Service star Taron Egerton, who was rumored to be on the studio’s radar early on!

While the film doesn’t shoot until next January, insiders say the House of Mouse wants to make the casting decision soon so the next Han could have a small cameo in Rogue One before his standalone spinoff!

Rogue One is supposed to take place between Episode III and Episode IV, so the freshly cast Han would be age appropriate to make a cameo — similarly to how new Spider-Man Tom Holland will be appearing in Captain America: Civil War!

Rogue One still has a month left of shooting, so hopefully this means we’ll find out sooner than later who is suiting up to play the iconic hero!
