Looks like Brooks Ayers will have to find his next paycheck elsewhere.
Following the news that Brooks planned to pen a revealing tell-all about his time on the Real Housewives of Orange County, his former girlfriend of five years Vicki Gunvalson released an official statement on the news.
While Ayers swore to release damaging info about Andy Cohen‘s first Real Housewives franchise and Gunvalson’s family, the reality star is assuring fans this will NOT happen. The blonde even has legal docs to prove her case!
The mom of two’s rep told Us Weekly Magazine:
“Vicki is not at all concerned about her former boyfriend writing a book. He can write whatever he wants except he cannot write about Vicki, her career, family or anything else concerning her. Vicki long ago had the boyfriend sign a fiercely written and executed confidentiality agreement. He cannot write about her at all. That was signed in the very beginning of their relationship.”
Woah, it sounds like Ayers’ book just fell apart! Considering Vicks was the only reason why the Mississippi resident was on the show in the first place, we’d imagine it would be pretty impossible to pen a memoir without mentioning her name or any of her loved ones.
As for the man who famously faked cancer, he’s sticking to his guns about the book as he believes it will “rehab” his reputation:
“I want nothing but the best for Vicki and she wants the best for me. I’m not doing this because she did it to me, but she’s a grown woman and she’s making business decisions to continue earning money. I’m a grown man and I want to do what I can do to rehab my reputation ├óΓé¼┬ª and you can’t do it on reality TV.”
Hmm, very inneresting. We guess Brooks’ job opportunities dissipated when the City of Hope hospital revealed he never sought out chemotherapy at their facilities.
Either way, it’s clear Gunvalson will keep whooping it up while the 48-year-old will continue to tweet not so cryptic messages like the one (below):
