This time, it’s Reese Witherspoon, and she has a sensible and heartfelt message about the lack of diversity at the Oscars after the award show has gone through such a controversial week of boycotts and debate.

The Legally Blonde actress took to Facebook on Thursday afternoon, and shared her thoughts on the Academy Awards’ lack of diversity among nominees in major film categories, writing to her fans (below):

Unlike George Clooney and some others who believe there aren’t enough quality movies and roles for minorities, Reese thinks the films and performances are out there — but that the voting body just isn’t diverse enough to see them.
