Celine Dion Breaks Her Silence Following Husband Ren├â┬⌐ Ang├â┬⌐lil’s Funeral

Celine Dion and Family

Celine Dion is speaking out in-depth for the first time since the tragic loss of her husband René Angélil.

The 47-year-old songstress took to her official website to thank fans for the tremendous support during such a difficult time. Not only did the mother-of-three lose the love of her life, but she also had to say goodbye to her brother Daniel Dion two days later after he succumbed to the same disease.

So tragic.

On Friday, the My Heart Will Go On singer penned:

“My family and I are deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support from so many people who have touched our lives during these past few days. We have felt your love for Ren├â┬⌐, and your prayers and compassion have helped us during this most difficult time… more than you’ll ever know. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I would also like to sincerely thank the Quebec Government for honoring René with National Funerals as well as the many individuals and organizations who came together to hold such a beautiful tribute in his name.

We will never forget all of the kindness that you have bestowed upon us.

On behalf of our family, with all of our love,
Céline, René-Charles, Nelson & Eddy
Patrick, Jean-Pierre & Anne-Marie”

Beautifully said.

Celine and Ang├â┬⌐lil share three sons — Ren├â┬⌐-Charles, 15, and 5-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy. Patrick, Jean-Pierre & Anne-Marie are the former music manager’s adult children from two previous marriages.

Our prayers continue to be with the Dion-Angélil family as they mourn.
