This is so great for his family.
Iman, Bowie’s long-time love, will receive roughly $50 million along with the couple’s Manhattan home — and the musician was far from done giving away money in his will.
Their daughter Alexandria will receive one of Bowie’s homes in upstate New York, and she’s also set to split the rest of the rocker’s fortune with his son from a previous relationship, Duncan Jones.
Additionally, Bowie left $2 million to his friend and personal assistant Corinne Coco Schwab, and in a wonderful act of generosity, he gave $1 million to Marion Skene, his son’s former nanny.
Bowie’s will also decrees that the musician have his ashes scattered on Bali, the island nation, based on Buddhist practice.
This is all wonderful news for those closest to Bowie — but of course, it’s still so sad to think that he’s gone.
