Alicia Vikander Snags Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Supporting Role At The 2016 SAG Awards!

We’ve seen so many great performances by women in film this year, which means competition is TOUGH in the female acting categories this awards season!

But that isn’t a problem for Alicia Vikander who just won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role at the SAG Awards!

Winning for her moving performance in The Danish Girl, the actress edged out some tough competition — including Rooney Mara, Rachel McAdams, Helen Mirren, and Kate Winslet!

In her speech, Vikander thanked her costar Eddie Redmayne — and also talked about how watching her mother perform when she was young inspired her to become an actor!

Congrats, girl! Well earned! Watch her touching speech (above)!
