Idris Elba Scores His Second Trophy Of The Night By Winning Outstanding Male Actor In A Miniseries At The 2016 SAG Awards!

Idris Elba may have gotten snubbed for the Oscars, but he’s totally making up for it at the SAG Awards!

Earlier in the night, the actor took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in Beast Of No Nation — but he was just getting started!

Because when it came time for the Outstanding Male Actor in a Miniseries category, the 43-year-old beat the competition for his role in Luther!

The actor appeared SO surprised and honored in his speech, thanking the writers and directors of the BBC crime drama — along with his wife and children!

To get his second award of the night, Elba beat out Ben Kingsley, Rey Liota, Bill Murray, and Mark Rylance!

Ch-ch-check out the victory (above)!
