In the March issue of Self Magazine, Kate divulged her top ten secrets to living healthy and maintaining a fit bod. Considering the blonde looks great for 36-years-old and owns her athletic clothing line, it makes perfect sense the mag consulted the actress!
While looking good seems to come naturally to Hudson, it actually takes a lot of work and more importantly a peaceful state of mind.
Speaking on her zen approach and love for yoga, the mom of two explained:
“It’s about understanding your own individual likes, not fad. Anything you do helps. You could sit there and not think of your mantra for your whole practice, but you’re still benefiting. Don’t beat yourself up… throw that idea of ├óΓé¼╦£I have to, I have to, I have to’ out the window.”
So does this mean we can skip a workout or two? Ha!
As for what keeps the beauty interested in her exercise regimen, she emphasizes switching up your routine:
“I change my routine. I change my look. I change my mind. I’ll do Tracy Anderson, I’ll do Body By Simone, I do everything. Nothing, literally nothing, makes me feel like I’m back to my body more than Pilates. I’ll travel, and I’ll go for a run or I’ll Spin. But when I go home and get on the reformer or the Cadillac, my body immediately goes back. I can see an instant shift.”
Woah! It sounds like K.H. is always on the move!
The momma even admitted that being on location doesn’t stop her from getting fit:
“I’m one of those people who, it’ll be early in the morning and I’ll be in a robe getting my hair done, and I’ll use my Hot5 app├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and do push-ups for five minutes!”
Way to make us feel insecure, Kate! Is there anything you can’t do?!
Luckily for the movie star, she has a bunch of people who make her superwoman lifestyle a reality:
“I have a whole chapter in my book about how it takes a village; your support group is huge. Stay tuned in and connected”
It’s nice to know Hudson has a great team of people in her life! We bet it doesn’t hurt that she’s besties with all of her exes either…
So, what do YOU think of Kate’s fitness philosophy?
