It’s hard to believe that it’s been three weeks since Celine Dion lost her husband Ren├â┬⌐ Ang├â┬⌐lil to cancer.

On Wednesday, the My Heart Will Go On Singer returned to the Colosseum stage at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in order to honor her late husband. Let us just start by saying it was an emotional event.

In a gorgeous black number, the pop icon addressed friends and fans who showed up (in person and via live stream) to the memorial service.

While wearing a brave face, she shared:

“Let me start by saying good evening good friends. Rene, the love of my life, would be so happy to know we are here together. I feel the love in this room.”

Sniff! She continued:

“This is my home away from home. At the same time I’m supposed to feel extremely comfortable being home and right now I’m not sure how comfortable I feel.”

Poor thing! The 47-year-old not only thanked her loyal fans for their support but also went on to remember the father of her children.

She explained:

“Ren├â┬⌐ never hated anyone. Or had a wrong opinion about someone. Is it ever possible someone loves everybody? I don’t think so. But he never told me what he disliked or the person he didn’t like… Time was precious to him. He loved life so much, he loved life so very much.”

We’re not crying, you’re crying! Of course, by the end of her touching tribute, Miz Dion struggled to hold back her tears. The Canadian native concluded:

“On behalf of my family, thank you again for being here for this beautiful tribute of mon amour, Ren├â┬⌐, I love you, so much. Merci. Goodnight.”

Our hearts go out to Celine and her whole family during this particularly trying time. Stay strong, girl!
