So this is probably nothing…
North Korea launched a satellite into space on Sunday, and the United Nations is worried that the satellite might be a front to test a ballistic missile or a hydrogen bomb.
No big deal! The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers are playing a few hours. This is nothing. This missile thing isn’t worth worrying about!
After all, the UN Security Council only called an emergency meeting on Sunday to figure out what’s going on with North Korea.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon had some strong words for the North Korean government, calling it “deeply deplorable” and a violation of the council’s safety resolutions.
The Security Council released a statement on Sunday, too:
“A clear threat to international peace and security continues to exist, especially in the context of the nuclear test … [We will] adopt expeditiously a new Security Council resolution with such measures in response to these dangerous and serious violations.”
Hey, you guys, come on! It should be fine!
It might just be a missile or a bomb — the UN isn’t really sure which one, yet — now floating up in space for whatever reason. That’s nothing!
Come on, forgot about it, the big game’s about to start! Football!
Yay! We’re pretty sure this bomb thing will be fine. Right…?
