All that work for nothing!

Drake fans were surprised during the Super Bowl on Sunday when a spot promoting the upcoming Grammy Awards mentioned the rapper’s name among the list of performers.

But apparently, someone forgot to tell Drizzy himself!

Shortly after the ad, the Hotline Bling rapper took to Twitter to crush everyone’s dreams confirming that he will NOT be performing at Monday’s ceremony, saying:

While we’re still recovering from this blow, we can’t help but wonder what actually confirmed performer Rihanna will be singing during the Grammys now that Champagne Papi is out of the picture!

We of course expected RiRi to perform her Anti-cipated single Work — which features Drake — during the show, but the song would just feel incomplete without the rapper, unforunately.

Make sure to catch the 58th Annual Grammy Awards hosted by LL Cool J on Sunday, February 15 at 8:00 p.m. EST on CBS to find out what she picks!
