Daniel Craig Signs On To Star In TV Show — Which Means Quitting James Bond For Good??

Looks like James Bond could be in trouble!

No, not because he was captured and strapped to a table under a laser — it’s because Daniel Craig reportedly just signed on to a new TV show!

Craig is set to star in Purity, a new drama series produced by Scott Rudin that is currently looking for offers from networks.

The new show, which is based on a book by the same name written by Jonathan Franzen is looking for a series order of 20 episodes and is seeking bids from Showtime, FX, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon.

Though there are rumors of Purity being a limited series, there are also talks that it could go beyond 20 episodes if successful.

Making this commitment could spell trouble for the Bond franchise because Craig might not be able to — or want to — juggle both projects depending on scheduling.

Though there’s no official word on whether or not this casting means the Hollywood hunk will put his gun down for good. But we’re thinking an announcement may be coming soon.

Of course the 47-year-old actor has already chatted a bit about his future as the MI6 agent as he got some heat for his over the top joke about wanting to slash his wrists before playing Bond again.

Since then, the blue eyed hunk has changed his tune a bit and hinted that there’s still a chance he might go undercover one more time!

Do you want Craig to return as Bond for one last adventure?!
