This better be so she can do more live musical adaptations!
On Wednesday, we learned that Julianne Hough will not be returning to judge Dancing with the Stars next season! The blonde beauty had been serving on the panel for the past three seasons, but now it seems she’s ready for a break.
The 27-year-old told People:
“I will miss being on the panel for Season 22, but have a lot of exciting stuff coming that I look forward to sharing. The pro dancers, producers and crew at DWTS will always be my family.”
But producer Rob Wade says this goodbye might not be a permanent one, explaining:
“Julianne will always be a part of the Dancing with the Stars family and we hope to see her back in the ballroom in the future.”
The silver lining to the dancing darling’s departure is that a familiar face will be back on the popular program!
Len Goodman will return to his rightful seat at the judges table — alongside Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli — after taking some time off to work on the show’s UK counterpart, Strictly Come Dancing.
You can see his triumphant return when season 22 premieres on March 21 on ABC.
