Big Ang’s Dying Wish Was All About Disco — Find Out What She Wanted Instead Of A Traditional Memorial

Ang wanted her loved ones to celebrate her life.

Big Ang wanted her family to celebrate her life in style.

On Thursday, the Mob Wives star tragically lost her battle with cancer, passing away at 55. While her loved ones are heartbroken by the loss, the TV personality did not want them to be miserable in their mourning.

Instead, the lovely lady’s dying wish was that everyone near and dear to her had a wild night out at the Brooklyn discotheque Pastels, where they could drink heavily and jam out to ’70s music.

The reality star preferred this plan to a typical memorial.

However, that particular establishment is closed, so we don’t know if Ang’s family will celebrate her life at a different venue.

But we do know that they stayed by her side in her final moments.

After her passing, the VH1 alum’s sister Janine Detore took to Instagram to share this sentimental snap (above) of her, and thanked everyone for their support, writing in the caption:

“At 3:01 my beautiful sister got her wings she’s with our mom & dad. We would like to thank everyone for your prayers and support … ├░┼╕╦£╦£├░┼╕╦£╦£├░┼╕╦£╦£ #myfriend #mysister till we meet again my love @bigangvh1”

Janine’s daughters, Sonnie and Jeannie, also used social media to post powerful pics of their aunt in her hospital bed. Take a look at the emotional images (below):

You have my heart forever. I was so scared to come see you. Three weeks I waited. Oh I regret that so much. I miss your voice and your smile and your beautiful brown eyes. Even bald you were a star. You were in the room when I was born and from that day on you became my second mommy. When I seen you laying in the hospital bed my heart broke in half. You were strong and i always loved that about you. When life gets tough you get tougher. When I was a baby I would sleep at your house for days at a time. I wish I could do that now come over and just lay with you. Watch lifetime movies like we used to. All the great memories we have will never be forgotten you are permanently in my heart. You are my inspiration to keep working and fighting. I’m so lucky to have gone to Florida with you, me, Raquel, and baby sal. I will never forget how you would smile, I love that smile. You were the best auntie ever. Rest peacefully my auntie ├░┼╕ΓÇÖ┼╛ I will always be your bunnyA photo posted by Sonnie Dee (@sonnie_detore) on Feb 18, 2016 at 2:31am PST

I will never encounter another human being so selfless like you. You’re one of a kind. Even on your worst days, you always wanted to know how I was doing or feeling. I know you will give me the strength to fulfill one of your wishes that you were begging for. You weren’t just an aunt to me, you were my big sister, my best friend, and a role model. A week ago you texted me that we needed to go to bora bora,I don’t care if I go all by myself because I know you’ll be right by my side. I love you more than you’ll ever know├░┼╕╦£ΓÇ¥├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇ¥├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇ¥├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇ¥. My heart is broken, but I know you’re in peace now my biggest best angel├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇó … I miss you already. Not many details have been released about funeral plans, but we do know that she won’t be cremated, because she didn’t like fire.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by this painful loss. Big Ang will be missed.
