Good for you, Ronda Rousey!

The MMA superstar was out and about in El Lay on Monday when the paparazzi caught up with her, and just like the classy woman that she is, Rousey took time to answer some questions and talk candidly about some serious health issues.

Of course, the media wanted to know all about Rousey’s recent comments on suicidal thoughts after losing to Holly Holm late last year.

The UFC star didn’t hold back, addressing it openly and honestly:

“I feel like there’s been an overly negative light on [discussing suicidal thoughts]. It’s something real people are going through, not something like a weakness that we should condemn. It’s really heavily affected our family … anything I can do to make sure it affects as few people as possible, I’d be happy to do that.”

The “heavily affected our family” line Ronda refers to is regarding both her father AND her grandpa — each man committed suicide.

Obviously, these things strike close to home with somebody like Ronda.

And clearly, its something she has thought lots about, and is taking the proper steps — and right attitude — towards addressing.

Good for her!!
