lorde gets approval from bowie son

It looks like Duncan Jones isn’t against ALL tributes for his late father David Bowie.

As we reported, the Warcraft director took to Twitter to slam Lady GaGa‘s passionate tribute to the musical icon during the Grammys. Ouch!

Since the 44-year-old was not a fan of the Bad Romance singer’s number, we just assumed he’d be less than thrilled with Lorde‘s slated rendition of Life on Mars at the BRIT Awards. Welp, it seems that isn’t the case!

In fact, the expectant dad absolutely loved the 19-year-old’s performance as he took to the social media site and gushed:

Bravo! Annie Lennox and Gary Oldman also participated in the tribute as they accepted the Brit Icon award on behalf of Bowie at the London event at the O2 Arena.

We wonder how the American artist is going to feel about this bit of shade?? Probably not well, as the blonde beauty took the hitmaker’s passing pretty hard.

Bowie lost his battle with cancer on January 10 at 69-years-old.

Do YOU think Lorde’s performance was better than Lady GaGa’s??
