Kesha has a lot on her plate these days.
So it is no surprise that the Tik Tok singer decided to cancel her scheduled performance at Loyola University Chicago‘s Colossus 2016 event.
As we reported, the blonde beauty recently suffered a major courtroom loss after she was denied her injunction bid to terminate her contract with Dr. Luke, who she claims raped her.
The school’s Department of Programming took to their Facebook account and shared:
Well, that’s a bummer. Still, we doubt the hitmaker feels like performing the songs she worked on with her alleged abuser — just sayin’!
In fact, Kesha still has a lengthy battle ahead of her as the music producer is counter suing the starlet for breach of contract and defamation. Oof!
Not to mention, the duo’s legal teams are both expected to turn in their demands for discovery of evidence for this suit by March 21. The case itself could last until January 2017.
It’ll be inneresting to see what comes next for Kesha as her complicated legal battle continues. Good luck, girl!
