Sam Smith Had The ‘Worst Moment Of His Life’ Singing At The Oscars! Find Out Why He ‘Hated Every Minute’!

We think the Academy probably disagrees with you…

Sam Smith pulled a bit of an upset at the Oscars Sunday night by beating out Lady GaGa and The Weeknd for Best Original Song, but you wouldn’t know it based on his own opinions on the outcome.

We thought his live performance of Writing’s on the Wall from Spectre was just okay, but the James Bond singer actually believed it to be the worst vocal of his entire career!

Shortly after winning the statue for the song, the 23-year-old complained about his performance to reporters, saying:

“It was the worst moment of my life. Singing was horrible. I hated every minute.

It’s only downhill from here… I’m going to retire, I’m done with music.”

While it probably didn’t deserve to win, it was by no means awful… but at least he has a sense of humor about it all!

Do U think Sam gave his worst performance ever last night??

Ch-ch-check out Writing’s on the Wall to see if it was as bad as Sam says (above)!!!
