LAPD Issues Press Conference Regarding The Knife Allegedly Found At O.J. Simpson Property 18 Years Ago!

Ryan Murphy couldn’t write something this good… or could he?!

It’s a little suspicious that there has been a potential break in the O.J. Simpson case at the exact same time that American Crime Story is currently reliving the murders, but hey, it’s called Hollyweird for a reason!

As you’ve probably heard, on Friday it was reported that a knife was allegedly found at O.J.’s Rockingham property as many as 18 years ago and went through at least two citizens’ hands — a construction worker and a retired cop — before being uncovered by the Police within the past month.

Hours after the initial report, LAPD Capt. Andrew Neiman issued a press conference about the update in the Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman murders.

They couldn’t confirm the legitimacy of the evidence, but there are some facts to the story.

The little we do know is that the Los Angeles Robbery and Homicide division IS currently testing forensics on a knife that is not a machete, and that O.J. cannot be criminally charged regardless of any new evidence that comes from the weapon due to double jeopardy laws.

Does FX still have time for reshoots??

Ch-ch-check out CNN‘s coverage of the press conference (above)!!!
