Sunday night marked the premiere of the second season of Caitlyn Jenner‘s reality show I Am Cait — and it sure had some inneresting moments!
In the new episode, Jenner takes a bus tour with some of her friends and while the ladies are chatting, they start to talk a little politics.
The girls are slated to stop by a Democratic presidential debate in next week’s episode, so obviously they got to talking and Caitlyn showed her conservative side by hating on Hillary Clinton a bit by saying:
“If we’re unfortunate enough to get Hillary as our next president, we need her on our side. She could care less about women. She cares about herself.”
Of course her friends, who include Jennifer Finney Boylan and Candis Cayne, jumped on the reality TV star and asked which Republican candidate SHE thought was supportive of transgender rights. The former Olympian replied:
“All of them. The Republicans [don’t say], ‘I hate trans people,’ or ‘I hate gays.’Nothing of that. They do more, ‘I want a thriving economy so every trans person has a job.'”
We’re not sure we’d agree with “all of them,” but at least Cait’s standing up for herself!
The 66-year-old also talked a bit about her dating life saying:
“No. I never have [been with a man] ├óΓé¼┬ª to be honest with you, I can’t see myself dating women in the future. I’ve been there. Done that. I have three very strong ex-wives. I just don’t see it. I don’t see a woman being attracted to me. “
Whoa! But the brunette star also talked about dating men, saying she can’t imagine dating a guy as she dished:
“I can’t even imagine some guy going out with me and then being absolutely scrutinized by the tabloids. Can you imagine if I actually had a date and walked out of a movie theater on a quiet Wednesday night holding hands with somebody? I think it would be really tough on me. It certainly would be tough on the guy. Like, ‘Why are you dating her? What are your motivations?’ It just gets so complicated because of the media that I don’t know any guy who would want to go through something like that.”
Awww! We’re sure you’ll find someone.
What do you think of Caitlyn’s political views?
