Very well spoken by both candidates!!

Sunday night’s Democratic presidential debate took place in Flint, Michigan — home of the city that’s been experiencing a toxic water crisis with lead-tainted water being piped into residents’ faucets for the last two years.

During the discussion, neither Hillary Clinton nor Bernie Sanders held back on Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, saying the man should resign at once over how he handled — or, well, didn’t handle — the situation.

A visibly emotional Sanders said he was “literally shattered” by the toxic tap water, saying:

“There’s a lot of blame to go around, and one of the points that I have made is I believe the governor of this state should understand that his dereliction of duty was irresponsible. He should resign.”

Clinton then picked up what Sanders put down, saying:

“Amen to that … resign or be recalled.”

Gee, isn’t it nice to have candidates that respect and occasionally even agree with each other?!

But back to the point — those strong words were met with VERY loud cheers in the debate hall.

More humorously, though, they were met with tweets from Governor Snyder himself — just as the man had been live-tweeting the whole debate!!! The guv quickly responded (below)!!!

LOL OK, Rick — we already know Hillary and Bernie are leaving Michigan soon — isn’t that kind of the point of a national presidential campaign??

Did U ever think that maybe U should just own up to not taking care of the water crisis in Flint?!
