This can’t be happening again… can it?!
Starbucks is now recalling and removing food from the shelves of hundreds of their restaurants amid concerns over an outbreak of food-borne illness.
Of course, this comes just weeks after Chipotle had to shut down to deal with something similar!
According to reports, the coffee giant is recalling their breakfast sandwiches due to concerns over a listeria outbreak.
It’s not a small recall, either; more than 250 locations are shelving their sausage, egg, and cheese muffins from the shelves — and while no sickness issues have been reported yet, it’s still a big deal.
We just got over this Chipotle thing, and now we have to deal with ANOTHER food-borne illness concern??
By the way, if you’re wondering, listeria causes vomiting, diarrhea, and fever in people who do eat tainted food.
Let’s just hope Starbucks’ being proactive will help them head this off at the pass!!!
