According to Tori Spelling, there’s NOTHING wrong with her finances!
Over the years, Tori and her husband Dean McDermott have been in the headlines repeatedly for their money problems — from bankruptcy to credit card lawsuits, it’s clear the couple has had some issues.
But wait, Spelling is now claiming the public’s perception is majorly skewed! In fact, the momma alleges the pair are “fine”!
Addressing a chapter about bankruptcy in her book Spelling It Like It Is, T.S. explained:
“It was one chapter. I thought I was being relatable, talking about how celebrities go through financial struggles, too, we make mistakes, too. We’re not perfect, we have made a lot of choices financially with real estate that didn’t work out … and that just escalated into this story about financial struggles, bankruptcy. To this day that haunts me!”
Hmm, then why did American Express sue you in January, girl? We’re confused!
Addressing that pesky lawsuit, Tori explained:
“I just want that story to go away!. We’re doing a great new series, I’m really happy, we’re doing a new show on Cooking Channel ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ we’re not bankrupt, we’re not struggling, we’re fine!”
Well, that’s good to hear! The twosome need to take care of their adorable kiddos, after all!
Speaking on the children, Spelling admitted that they have candid conversations on money so they won’t make the same mistakes:
“My husband and I work really hard. I mean, I’m constantly out there working. It’s so important for my children to see that both their parents are working, and we talk to them about it. My kids are like, ‘It’s not fair, why aren’t you home more?’ And I explain things to them and we talk about money.”
What a great way to turn a negative into a positive! Hopefully these lessons stick.
So, do YOU believe Tori?
