Amber Rose Opens Up About Her Repaired Relationship With Kim Kardashian — But Are They Actually Friends?!

Are they best friends forever or best friends for never?

The internet has been freaking the f*ck out over Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian West‘s fledgling friendship ever since they posted that sweet selfie together last month.

And now that the 32-year-old has come to the brunette beauty’s defense after fellow celebs criticized her naked snap, we’ve been wondering just how strong this bond has actually become!

Video: THIS Is Why Amber Defended Kim!

Is Amber officially one of the 35-year-old’s BFFs now?!

Not so fast, Perezcious readers! The gorgeous gal told The Daily Beast that they won’t be getting matching bracelets anytime soon:

“The thing is, me and Kim will probably├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I won’t say we’ll never be friends, but we accept each other for who we are, and that’s the most important thing as women.”

She believes that her ex — who’s also Kim’s current husband and the famous father of her children — Kanye West is probably the main reason they won’t ever truly be gal pals, adding:

“I don’t get along with her husband├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I don’t think we’ll ever be the best of friends├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥but it’s good that we understand who we both are, got all that shit out on the table, and can just move on with our lives knowing that the Internet is mostly what gave us the beef we had. We didn’t naturally have any beef with each other, the Internet just naturally instigated everything. So we got it all out and it’s all good now.”

The lovely lady also explained that they do have a connection over the continued criticism they face, venting:

“It’s bullsh*t, and this is the thing: They come at me and Kim so hard because I was a stripper and she had a sex tape. So if we could sing, it would be OK if we were on stage half-naked. We all love Beyonc├â┬⌐, but she’s on stage half-naked and twerking all the time, yet people say, oh, she has talent so she’s able to do that. We don’t have the talent that Beyonc├â┬⌐ has, so we get criticized as former sex workers, but at the end of the day we’re just women├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥we’re all women├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and we should all embrace each other. No one is greater. We’re all the same. So, to criticize us as incapable of being smart businesswomen because Kim has a reality show and I’m a socialite and we don’t sing is stupid. We’ve both been in movies, and we take our acting, business ventures, and everything else very seriously.”

She also opened up about the incredible double standard they face in Hollywood, exclaiming:

“No one gives a f*ck that Channing Tatum was a stripper. He’s an established actor who’s at the Vanity Fair parties and the Oscars, but for me, no matter how far I go in my life, I see these stories that keep referring to me as a ├óΓé¼╦£former stripper.’ No one says ├óΓé¼╦£former stripper’ about Channing Tatum, or ‘former McDonald’s worker’ about Brad Pitt. No one does that to men. And furthermore, if a man was to post a semi-nude selfie in the mirror├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥like The Game, for example├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥everyone is like, damn, you’ve got a big dick, or damn, you’ve got a nice body. Nobody says, damn, Kim had a f*ckin’ baby and that b*tch looks bangin’ as f*ck! Nobody says that! They just criticize her because she’s a mom.”

Very solid points! And while we’re sad that she and Kimmy might not actually be friends, we love that they’re super civil and accepting of each other!

And as Amber said, “never say never!”
