Scream Queen Billie Lourd Is Joining Mom Carrie Fisher AGAIN For Star Wars Episode VIII — And This Time She’ll Have A Bigger Role!

Between Scream Queens and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Billie Lourd had quite a year in 2015.

Sure, the 23-year-old hardly appeared in TFA, but considering how many people saw it, the teeny bit of screen time she did get playing Lieutenant Connix was pretty sweet.

PLUS she even got to ask her real life mom Carrie Fisher a quick question in the flick.

Of course we’re excited the blonde beauty is returning for season 2 of Queens, but what we’re REALLY stoked for is Lourd confirmed she’s returning for the next Star Wars Episode VIII!

At PaleyFest over the weekend, the actress was asked about whether or not the director of the next SW flick had reached out to her about appearing in the film to which Fisher’s daughter replied:

“I can’t say much about it, but yes. I am working on Star Wars VIII but that’s all I can say.”


What’s even better is Billie confirmed that her role in the next film will be a bit bigger. As for having another scene with her mom though, all the Scream Queens actress would say was:
