David Beckham Covers GQ For The FIRST Time & Says He Gets ‘Physically Ill’ When He Leaves His Kids!

David is such a precious parent!

Can you believe the Sexiest Man Alive had never been on the cover of GQ before?!

Neither can we! And while David Beckham is finally on his first-ever cover for the popular publication, he actually spends more time inside the pages talking about his famous family than himself!

The gorgeous guy revealed to the glossy that he no longer cares what tabloids have to say, because he’s feeling good about being a family man!

He said:

“I’m secure as a person, as a husband, as a dad. I’ve gone past the point of really worrying, caring.”

And since he retired a few years back, the soccer star does get to spend more time at home with his four kids. But, he admitted being so used to having them around that he hates leaving:

“I get physically ill when I have to leave the kids now.”

Awwwww. That’s TOO sweet.

However, it’s not just his kids he misses! The 40-year-old also lamented about hanging up his jersey, saying:

“I miss soccer every day. I don’t know whether it’s the athlete in me, or the passion I have for the game: I always think that I can step back on the field and play…”

In fact, he even shared that he might’ve returned to the field for a year if he and his brood were living stateside, adding:

“You know, maybe I could play another year in the U.S. If I was still living in L.A., I’d probably really seriously think about coming back for a year. But we’re living in London, and the kids are happy in the school…”

And, being the proud poppa he is, it’s pretty clear that his kids come first!

But, if you’re itching for more deets about David, GQ is publishing the full interview on its website Thursday!
