This is so sad.
His agent, Ronald Butler, revealed that the Baltimore Ravens cornerback died at 5 p.m. on Friday.
The 23-year-old was rushed to Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital, where Ronald said he spent most of the night in surgery.
Police say the sports star had been riding his dirt bike when he collided with a Ford Escape in the middle of an intersection.
Officials reported that the bike did not have headlights, and the football player wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The accident is still being investigated by authorities.
After hearing the tragic news, the Ravens took to Twitter to mourn the devastating loss, posting:
The Texas Southern University alum was drafted by the team in 2015 as a fourth-round pick, and was the first player from his school to be selected since 2000.
He was also the highest NFL draft pick for TSU since 1994.
As a rookie for the Maryland pro team, he played in eight games and dedicated his first season in the League to his late father, who had passed away from a heart attack in 2014.
Our hearts are with Tray’s friends and family, as well as everyone affected by this tragic loss.
