Well we’ve got the answers for you! On Monday, nutritionist Dr. Philip Goglia opened up to People magazine about his tips and tricks that he uses with his A-list clientele — such as the KUWTK starlets, Chris Hemsworth, Cara Delevingne, and Chris Evans.
Um, go on!
In regards to his online G-Plan program, the doc explained:
“The goal is to reduce inflammation and look as lean as you can ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ with a great deal of energy.”
Yes, but how EXACTLY do we do that?? Well, be sure to ch-ch-check out Goglia’s go to tools to get that Hollywood body for yourself (below)!
1. Cut out all dairy.
“Dairy is like eating moderately hard phlegm. It adversely affects digestion, it causes bloating and gas, it promotes inflammation, and it adversely affects oxygen utilization.”
2. Say goodbye to yeast, gluten, and mold.
“This basically means no bread. They are multi-ingredient starches. They are yeast, mold and gluten-bound. The starches you should choose are one-ingredient ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ potatoes, rice, oatmeal, oat flakes, or oat puffs.”
3. Eat your big protein meat in the evening (No pun intended, LOLz!).
“At that point, there should be no energy source food. People don’t run a marathon after dinner. You don’t need a potato at dinner. You’re going to store it as fat, and then you’ll enflame.
Fish offers up a lot of anti-inflammatory benefits and fat-burning benefits when consumed at night, but it’s got to be a fatty fish like salmon, sea bass, black cod, or Arctic char.”
4. DRINK WATER. Like, but actually though!
“Water does two things. Firstly, it’s responsible for moving nutrients and toxins through your system, and then more importantly as it relates to your physique, it regulates temperature. If your water is low and you can’t regulate temperature patterns, then your body will start to store fat underneath your skin to act as insulation to control your temperature.”
HINT: Sparkling water, juice, and coffee do NOT count!
