Did Bill Clinton Refer To Barack Obama’s Presidency As ‘The Awful Legacy Of The Past Eight Years’? Watch The Major Political Faux Pas!

This is one bad gaffe.

Bill Clinton was speaking at a campaign rally for his wife, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, when the former leader of the free world slipped up BADLY, accidentally SLAMMING fellow Democrat Barack Obama‘s eight years in office.

Hoping to get people to vote for his very popular wife — who, as former Secretary of State, has a very good relationship with President Obama — Clinton said something he likely immediately regretted:

“If you believe we can rise together, if you believe we’ve finally come to the point where we can put the awful legacy of the last eight years behind us and the seven years before that where we were practicing trickle-down economics, then you should vote for her.”

The “awful legacy of the past eight years”? Cringe!!

See the speech (below):

Bill, Bill, Bill… no! BAD!!

After the speech, one of Clinton’s spokespeople played down the faux pas, claiming:

“[Clinton] was referring to the GOP’s obstructionism and not President Obama’s legacy.”

Look, Slick Willie, the GOP sucks. But let’s not go qualifying this like you actually said what you meant to say. You slipped up! Pretty badly, actually — own it!

For her part, Hillary did not jump into the fray, she is definitely still supportive of President Obama, and, oh yeah, she’s gonna kick Donald Trump‘s ass at the polls!! LOLz!!
