Reporter Honors Phife Dawg By Sprinkling Rapper’s Lyrics Into His Traffic Report — Watch The Viral Tribute!

As you know, Phife Dawg, rapper and member of the rap group A Tribe Called Quest tragically passed away on Tuesday from complications from type 1 diabetes.

Fans and celebrities took to Twitter to give the 45-year-old a shout out and pay their respects, but one traffic reporter in Atlanta found a new way to honor the late artist.

Mark Arum from WSB in Atlanta decided to pay tribute to Phife by using some of the rapper’s most famous lyrics in his traffic report.

At one point Arum asked fellow reporter Mark McKay:

“Are things ludicrously speedy or infectious with the slo mo?”

Not only that but Mark has a great little exchange with anchor Fred Blankenship too!
