Talk about awkward!

San Francisco State University is now investigating an altercation between two students after a video of an incident between them went viral.

The video (below) shows Cory Goldstein being harassed by Bonita Tindle — who is NOT an SFSU employee like the video states — in a hallway over Cory’s dreadlocks hairstyle.

In the video that now has close to 1.5 million views on YouTube, Goldstein can be heard saying:

“You’re saying that I can’t have a hairstyle because of your culture? Why?”

Tindle responds:

“Because it’s my culture.”

Apparently Bonita originally commented about the young student’s hair and then followed him into the student union to confront him. Eventually police showed up, and Cory was given the option to press charges, which he did not.

He says only that he would like an apology.

Ch-ch-check out the viral vid (below) and let us know if you think this encounter is going too far!
