Netflix’s Gilmore Girls Reboot Will Finally Give Fans Those Infamous Last 4 Words!

We’ve only waited nine years… no rush.

One of the most anticipated TV events of 2016 is taking place online as Netflix revives Gilmore Girls after it was tragically cut short back in 2007.

Almost the entire cast is coming back for the reboot — rest in peace, Sookie — but characters aren’t the only aspect of continuity that Amy Sherman-Palladino is focusing on with her second chance.

It was confirmed on Thursday that Stars Hollow fans will FINALLY hear those infamous final four words that were originally set to finish out the series!

In fact, returning player Yanic Truesdale even teased the ending, saying:

“I know them because I read the script! I always felt it was intriguing, like everyone else. I was like, ‘How does she know the last four words?’ But when I read it, I was like, ‘Oh, OK. That makes sense.’ I can see now why she knew that that would be said.”

Our bodies are ready, Amy.

On the other hand, we’re hoping this doesn’t mean that the GG revival is a one-and-done type of deal if she’s already pulling out her intended series finale after just four episodes!

Although, we have a feeling the four words will be some combination of: Please, Renew, Us, and Netflix!
