It’s hard to believe Bill Cosby still has supporters.
In a recent conversation with Amber Rose, an alum of the Cosby Show spoke out in defense of the comedian. Keshia Knight Pulliam played Rudy Huxtable on the hit series and is convinced Bill is innocent of the sexual assault charges piled against him. The interview took place on her podcast, Kandidly Keshia.
The defensive message was spurred by Rose’s assertion that men can get away with everything while women are too often vilified in comparison:
“Anything a man can do├óΓé¼┬ªwe can do. Sometimes I get very frustrated when I see guys call girls hoes or when people like├óΓé¼┬ªstick up for Bill Cosby.”
Not so surprisingly, Rudy did NOT take well to the jab. In response, the actress protested:
“I feel you, and everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but we still live in a country where you’re innocent till proven guilty. And I understand everything that has happened, and me being a feminist and believing women ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ no means no and I get that ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ but, just so you know, I worked with him for a really long time├óΓé¼┬ª I love him dearly still and that isn’t the man that I know.”
Hmm… how can you be a feminist and believe women when you refuse to acknowledge the alleged truths of dozens of ladies? Not to mention there are a ton of legal proceedings currently moving forward against Cosby…
Either way, everyone is entitled to their opinions as Pulliam expressed to Amber. We just wonder what her fans will have to say about this one!
