The Little Mermaid may be getting a live-action big screen adaptation — but it looks like Ariel & co. are set to make a splash on the stage first!

It’s been announced that Sara Bareilles and Rebel Wilson will headline a cast performing the songs from the Disney classic this summer at the Hollywood Bowl in El Lay!

Backed by a 71-piece live orchestra, the Brave singer will be playing the titular mermaid while the Pitch Perfect star has signed on to play the evil sea witch Ursula — though the A-list cast doesn’t stop there!

John Stamos will be playing Chef Louis, Darren Criss will be Prince Eric, and Tituss Burgess will be reprising his role as Sebastian — which he played on Broadway in 2007!

The idea for the musical recreation surfaced from Alan Menken, who co-wrote the music for the original film, including the songs Under the Sea, Kiss The Girl, Poor Unfortunate Souls, and Part of Your World.

But the Hollywood Bowl performance will also include additional songs Menken co-wrote for the Broadway adaptation — including Her Voice, sung by Prince Eric!

“For a lot of us, it’s wait and see how the Hollywood Bowl goes.”

The biggest Disney fans will want to catch the debut show on June 4, because Menken will kick off the night with a medley of his best-known songs from Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Newsies, Enchanted, and Tangled!
