Paul Walker’s Daughter Receives $10.1 Million From Estate Of The Driver From The Fatal Car Accident — Details Here

Paul Walker‘s fatal accident back in 2013 sent shockwaves through Hollywood, though there was probably no one more affected by his death than his daughter Meadow Walker.

Since the actor’s passing, Meadow and the Walker family have been through quite a bit as both Paul’s father and daughter filed lawsuits against Porsche over problems with the Porsche Carrera GT that the Fast and the Furious star was riding in with driver Roger Rodas.

In a complicated turn of events a judge decided to throw out Rodas’ widow’s wrongful death lawsuit earlier this week. However, Meadow has continued to fight on — and she just got a pretty big win.

Paul’s little girl was just awarded $10.1 million as a settlement deal from Rodas’ estate. Jeff Milam, the 17-year-old’s lawyer, opened up to People about the ruling saying:

“The amount paid by the estate of Roger Rodas into a trust for Meadow Walker only covers a fraction of what her father would have earned as an international movie star had his life not tragically been cut short.”

Milam went on to say:

“Through his estate, Mr. Rodas, the driver of the car, took partial responsibility for the crash. Meadow’s lawsuit against Porsche AG ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ a $13 billion corporation ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ intends to hold the company responsibly for producing a vehicle that was defective and caused Paul Walker’s death.”

Obviously it’s extremely tragic that Roger’s widow’s case was thrown out, but hopefully things are still amicable between the two parties and that this will serve as a stepping stone to justice being served against Porsche.
