At Least Two Dead After Active Shooter Reported On Air Force Base

This is so scary.

Reports have been coming across Friday morning of an active shooter at Lackland Air Force Base near San Antonio, Texas, and it appears that at least two people are dead as a result.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating, and of course, the situation is very fluid, but what we know so far is that earlier this morning, an active shooter was reported after shots were heard on the base.

Soon after, reports came in that at least two were dead (below):

Shortly thereafter, the Associated Press reported the scary shooting was apparently a murder-suicide (below):

As to be expected, and seen in the picture (above), there is a large police presence on the base right now.

We’ll have further updates as necessary, as soon as they become available.

Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones on this sad, scary day.
