So Much For Streaming — Looks Like Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo Is A Billboard #1 Album!

What about all that streaming talk now?! LOLz!!

After weeks of withholding it from being able to be downloaded, Kanye West finally relented back on April 1 and allowed The Life Of Pablo to be available far wider than just via streaming on Tidal… and it looks like that decision is paying off!

The rapper’s ‘living album’ looks as though it’s going to go to #1 on the Billboard 200 album charts dated April 23, thanks to more than 90,000 equivalent album sale units reported from the week ending on Thursday, April 7!

That’s an impressive feat, of course — especially so for an album that was available only via streaming for more than six weeks and was obviously illegally downloaded a LOT!

It had been vying with Chris Stapleton‘s new country album Traveller for the top spot, but now it appears that Yeezy is going to take home #1… a feat he undoubtedly loves.
