Caitlyn Jenner has made quite a bit of progress throughout her journey into womanhood over the past year.
Now, the former Olympian is at another crossroads in her transition — and it’s one of the biggest decisions she’s been faced with yet.
After her public transition last year, the 66-year-old revealed that while she had her face feminized, she had not gone through genital surgery.
In a new promo for Sunday’s episode of I Am Cait, the reality star opened up about the possibility of gender confirmation surgery — and it’s still not something she’s “not comfortable” with, explaining:
“The last six months of my life have been really enlightening. But one thing I’m really not comfortable with is this issue of gender confirmation surgery.”
Cait sat down with a friend to discuss the subject with trans activist Jenny Boylan, who told her:
“It’s something that everyone has to wrestle with individually. You know, there are a lot of people who never end up having surgery and yet they’re still men or women.”
It looks like this could be Caitlyn’s most challenging decision yet. Watch the clip (below) and catch the episode Sunday at 9 p.m. EST on E!
