Fear The Walking Dead Sets Sail For Season 3, No Word If Better Character Development Will Be Joining…

We hope you haven’t jumped ship just yet!

Fear The Walking Dead may be a much more boring version of The Walking Dead, but it’s at least going to have a lot of time to sort itself out.

That’s because AMC just announced that they have already renewed the zombie spinoff for a third season after only airing a single episode of Season Two!

President of AMC Studios Charlie Collier confirmed the news in a statement, saying:

“What Dave Erickson and Robert Kirkman have invented in Fear The Walking Dead is to be applauded. Watching Los Angeles crumble through the eyes of our characters and seeing each make decisions and try to figure out the rules of their new world ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£- it’s fresh, eerie and compelling, and we’re all in for the ride. As Victor Strand observed, ‘The only way to survive a mad world is to embrace the madness.’ We thank the millions of fans for embracing this mad world and look forward to sailing far into the future.”

While we wouldn’t call Fear eerie, fresh, or compelling yet, we are loving the cast — specifically Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, Colman Domingo, and Kim Dickens — even if their characters aren’t doing it for us right now.

You can catch Fear The Walking Dead every Sunday at 9 p.m. EST on AMC… although, hopefully they decide to kill more than just people of color this time around…

P.S. Are we ever going to find out who survived that plane crash??
