Love & Hip Hop is taking over a new city!
Trick Daddy recently told Bossip that the popular reality TV franchise is expanding to the 305! The 42-year-old explained that Love & Hip Hop Miami is DEFINITELY happening!!
He opened up about a discussion he had with Mona Scott-Young, whose entertainment company is in charge of VH1‘s popular program, saying:
“I just met with Mona last week and we’re trying to do this thing right. Put some real Miami b*tches and real Miami [n-words] on the show.”
The rapper, whose real name is Maurice Young, revealed that the new series will start filming soon — either at the end of April or early next month — and that his scenes will follow as he manages up-and-comers Premadonna and Mike Smith!
But he didn’t give too much away, adding:
“It’s all gonna come out on the show. We’re just trying to do what we do. What I do.”
Trick also admitted why he signed on for the show in the first place, and he says it’s NOT just about being on TV:
“I’m really doing Love & Hip Hop Miami because there’s a difference between Old Cutler money and South Beach money. Old Cutler money is grandfathered in, South Beach is investors.”
Plus, the Miami native is adamant that he won’t be embarrassing himself in the upcoming episodes:
“One thing I won’t do is make a fool of myself. If we gon’ make a fool of somebody it won’t be me so it’ll be interesting.”
Well, there’s only one way to know for sure! We’re just going to have to watch to find out!
