Cheryl Burke Says Rob Kardashian Is Making His Weight Issues ‘A Bigger Deal Than It Is’

Cheryl gets critical of Rob's reaction to gaining a lot of weight!

Cheryl Burke thinks Rob Kardashian overreacted about his weight gain!

As we already knew, the sock mogul had, until recently, stayed off the grid after gaining over 100 pounds in one year. However, his former Dancing with the Stars partner doesn’t really understand why he opted for a life of seclusion.

During an interview on Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss, the professional dancer candidly criticized the 29-year-old’s decision to go into hiding once his figure got fuller.

The 31-year-old bluntly said:

“Look, everyone fluctuates. I’m surprised that he’s making it a bigger deal than it is. I think that’s it’s fine, why does he have to go into hiding or why isn’t he coming out? I think it’s not a big deal.”

Damn. That’s kind of cold, don’t you think?

While the ABC alum still had nice things to say about Blac Chyna‘s fianc├â┬⌐, she continued to stress that he still should have ventured out in public:

“I know Rob really well, he’s a normal guy and he’s so sweet, and I just don’t think that he has anything to be insecure about. I say: ‘Just own it Rob, get out there.’ I think with Rob and his situation he can definitely come out and own it a little more. It just happens, it’s not like he’s so obese he can’t walk. He’s good. He’s chill. I say: ‘Own it, but still be healthy.’ Obviously if he’s not healthy there’s something wrong.”

And even though the California native hasn’t met the reality star’s lady love, she’s just glad he seems to be doing well and shedding some pounds now:

“Listen, he seems to be really happy, so if Rob’s happy, I’m happy.”

The brunette also reminisced about how she was able to change people’s perceptions of the DWTS runner-up back when they were paired up on the popular program, adding:

“When I had Rob Kardashian, when I danced with him or Jack Osbourne, it was awesome because people were like: ‘Oh, these people are going to be gone by week two, week three.’ And then we take them all the way to the finals and you get more credit for actually doing that than winning another [Mirror]ball.”

Do U think Cheryl was too harsh on Rob?! Let us know in the comments!
