Kelly Ripa Won’t Return To Live Until Michael Strahan Is Gone?! PLUS Find Out Who’s REALLY Responsible For The Daytime Drama!

Don’t expect to see Kelly Ripa back on TV anytime soon!

The daytime talk show host was noticeably missing on Wednesday’s Live With Kelly and Michael, just a day after it was revealed that cohost Michael Strahan is leaving the show for a full time gig at Good Morning America.

Ripa’s absence was due to her feeling blindsided and humiliated by the decision to move the former NFL star — so much, that she is reportedly refusing to show up for work until he’s gone!

VOTE: Who Do YOU Think Should Replace Michael On Live?

Multiple sources at ABC told DailyMail that the 45-year-old is “very hurt” over Disney‘s secretive plot. A source close to the tv personality said:

“Kelly isn’t making any demands. She is very hurt that Disney hasn’t even spoken to her yet so they are assuming that she isn’t coming back.”

The source adds that ABC thinks the success of GMA is more important than Live — especially since GMA is becoming more threatened by the Today show (its NBC equivalent) as of late.

Since Strahan isn’t set to transition until the fall, it’s unclear if Ripa will actually stay off the air until her cohost of four years leaves — though an apology from ABC certainly wouldn’t hurt. The source added:

“She wants to wait and see what happens. She’d also like someone to do the right thing and speak to her face to face rather than plot and plan behind her back.”

The sources say that the shift was the work of Disney Media cochair and former ABC News head Ben Sherwood, who thinks moving the wide-appealing Strahan to GMA will help stabilize the talk show.

And according to another network insider, Sherwood’s sneaky move will make him look good come time to choose a successor for Disney CEO Bob Iger! The source said:

“Ben has always been ambitious and this is his way of trying to save Good Morning America while also positioning himself to be Bob Iger’s successor running all of Disney.”

Well, if Kelly wants an apology — we certainly know who should be giving it to her!

Do YOU think the perky blonde will stay off the air until Strahan peaces out?
