Earlier this month, the momma-of-two got the names of her two kids — Olive and Frankie Kopelman — spontaneously tattooed on her wrist.
Over the weekend, the gorgeous gal opened up to Entertainment Tonight about how much being a parent has influenced her life.
The actress said that she feels being a mom has bettered her:
“I think it’s good to show my kids I’m passionate and have a good work ethic and that you have to earn what you have in this world. [Motherhood’s] just made me such a better person. I always love and try to live on the high road. I think you feel best when you behave or react or come from the high road place. And my kids have elevated that for me in a way that is indescribable.”
And, the 41-year-old explained that the impromptu ink brings her a lot of happiness:
“They’re my favorite people on the planet, and just seeing it every day makes me happy. Always remember what’s important and that joy is in everything├óΓé¼┬ª they are my joy.”
Plus, her darling daughters aren’t the only lovely ladies Miz Barrymore has got in her life. Will’s sister, Jill Kargman, revealed that despite the divorce, she and the 50 First Dates alum are “sisters forever.”
In fact, she really enjoyed having the California native guest star on her show Odd Mom Out, adding:
“[Barrymore] was a really good guest star. Wonderful. It was fabulous. She lives on the Upper East Side, so she lives it. She’s doing it. Her daughters are in the school that my kids went to. She’s in it, and it’s with a wink and a smile. And she did a beautiful job.”
We’re just so glad that Drew is still surrounded by her loving family during this tough time.
