Speaking on the decision to keep the details on lock, the sheriff on the case explained:

“Premature disclosure of the details provided in the search warrant and its accompanying documents may compromise this law enforcement investigation by causing the search or related searches to be unsuccessful.”

The big legal move comes on the heels of allegations that the singer was addicted to the prescription drug Percocet prior to his untimely passing. Police fear pharmacists and doctors may have have illegally given the legend access to more drugs than he actually needed. Authorities hope they’ll find evidence to support this fact by raiding the 57-year-old’s home ASAP.

No matter what police find or don’t find, we hope we receive more info as to how Prince died sooner than later. The fans and his loved ones deserve closure!
