TMZ is reporting that the Purple Rain singer passed up “at least eight” pharmacies close to his home in order to travel further to pick up prescription pills from a separate Walgreens the night before his death.

Apparently, Prince visited Walgreens chains drug stores at least four times in the week before he died, going to several locations — and raising suspicions that he was using multiple doctors to write multiple prescriptions with aliases.

In order to avoid the warning from a pharmacy if he were to have visited too often, it seems Prince could have been moving pharmacies, according to the report in TMZ, in order to stay away from detection.

Regardless, it’s still so sad that he’s gone so soon. Our thoughts continue to be with his family and loved ones.
