Michael Strahan Opens Up About His Kelly Ripa Drama Saying Everyone Has ‘The Wrong Impression’ — Get The Scoop!

As we’re sure you know, there’s a WHOLE LOT of drama going on at LIVE! with Kelly and Michael ever since Michael Strahan announced he would be moving to Good Morning America.

Since then, there has been all kinds of chaos with Kelly Ripa being a bit pissed off, Strahan being pushed out a bit earlier than expected, and rumors of Andy Cohen, Anderson Cooper, Mario Lopez and EVEN Regis Philbin replacement cohosts.

Well the former NFLer attended the Met Gala on Monday night and talked with Entertainment Tonight about about all the drama and said people have “the wrong impression” about what went down during the meeting where Ripa found out!

The 44-year-old went on to dish on the controversy saying:

“Every day is great for me. I’m on the other side of the dirt.”

The former New York Giants player also said:

“Yeah, I’m looking forward to [moving to GMA full-time]. But I’m still looking forward to going to work for Live ├óΓé¼┬ª I love being there. I still love it. It’s a great show, great people, and I’m very fortunate to be a part of it.”

Despite another awkward moment Tuesday morning, the cohosts seem to be putting up a good facade and appearing to keep things cordial.
