Although she may be Angela Kardashian in the near future, Blac Chyna is taking legal action to protect her name!
On Wednesday, it was reported that Rob Kardashian‘s fianc├â┬⌐e filed documents last month in order to trademark her name. Oh snap!
Apparently, in recent months, countless business opportunities for Tyga‘s baby momma have been coming in (hmm, we wonder why?) — and the video vixen is hoping to gain the exclusive right to promote products using her name. Well this was bound to happen!
Of course, this trademark would apply to TV gigs, movie deals, and public appearances. However, sources dished to TMZ that B.C.’s offensive business move is because the 27-year-old is worried another stripper and/or model will try to get jobs by using her moniker. We mean, it’s not the craziest thing we’ve heard!
What’s inneresting about this whole situation is that Blac filed this paperwork two weeks before her engagement to Rob. Hmm, coincidence?
Well, that’s what her people are saying. In fact, Blac and Co. feel that her name should’ve been trademarked YEARS ago. The mother of one’s attorney Walter Mosley confirmed that they filed this paperwork after Blac received several film, TV, and endorsement offers — and that they were simply trying to protect his client’s likeness and intellectual property.
Smart move. We can only imagine that even Kris Jenner is impressed!
