Addiction Specialist & Son Remain Silent As The Investigation Into Prince’s Death Rages On

911 caller staying silent

There’s something shady about all of this…

The man who called 911 for Prince during his untimely passing is remaining tight-lipped about his involvement in this particular tragedy. Hmm, go on.

As we previously reported, Andrew Kornfeld flew to be with the Raspberry Beret singer in order to help him with his painkiller addiction. What’s odd about this situation is that it is Andrew’s dad, Dr. Howard Kornfeld, who was asked by the late icon’s rep to come help save Prince from himself.

Rather than just drop everything to be with the Grammy winner, the rehab specialist sent his son (who is NOT a doctor) in his place. We don’t think that’s how medicine works! Not to mention, Andrew had a synthetic opiate used to help addicts in his backpack at the time of the Purple Rain artist’s passing — but it is totally illegal to bring drugs across state lines.

Uh oh. Reportedly, Andrew stayed silent when spotted by the paparazzi on Thursday at a nature preserve in Northern California. Also, Howard refused to discuss the ongoing investigation when snapped outside of his rehab center Recovery Without Walls in Marin County, CA.

Since it’s been revealed that Percocet was in Prince’s system when he died, Andrew and Howard will most likely still be investigated for the part they may’ve played in this sad story.

Stay tuned.
